Austin Childrens Museum: Inside The Looking Lens 'Members and Friends Opening Night' at the exhibit "Inside the Looking Lens: The Art and Science of Photography" was filled with fun and laughter. The exhibit has a giant camera obscura (dark chamber), where you can watch how everything turns upside down and backwards on the wall, just as if you were inside of a real camera. There is a photosensitive wall, where you can draw yourself everytime you activate the light (one of the favorites of both children and adults.) There is also a darkroom set up, where you can learn how black & white photographs are developed. For those who had never visited the museum, there is also a music studio, a tornado machine, a weather station, and a supermarket. This is a must see, not only for children, but adults too!
