Doug La Rue has spent the last ten years working professionally in many facets of the Art industry as a Illustrator, Graphic Designer, Photographer and Creative Director. La Rue has developed a name for himself as a computer illustrator by mixing various traditional graphic mediums with computer digital fx and photography utilizing a Power Mac 8500/120 with 196MB RAM, 4 GB hard drive space. La Rue founded the digital arts studio Glaze in 1991 and has won several awards for digital art and photography since. He has produced art for many companies including Thomas Publishing, Capitol City Publishing, Holt Rinehart & Winston Publishing, Dallas Morning News, Houston Chronicle & CineStar Films Inc. La Rue has had several museum and gallery exhibits including a recent display at the Texas State Capitol Building.
