On February 14, 1997 the staff from KLBJ-FM was at Highland Mall hosting the Annual Rock'n'Roll Up Your Sleeve blood drive, in conjunction with an exhibit of
photographs of The Rolling Stones.

Thanks to the generosity of the KLBJ listeners, 611 pints of blood were collected.
A few famous Austinites stopped by the KLBJ booth to say hello to Peggy Zarce, and talked about upcoming projects: Heath Clark from Sunflower; and twin brothers A.J. and Alex Vallejo who that night rocked Steamboat with a great Valentine's show.
